Anyone who lives within the Parish boundary (see boundaries) has the right to be married in their Parish Church. Since October 2008, anyone who has a qualifying connection, but does not live in the Parish, may also apply.
If you are considering a church wedding, please contact the Parish Priest before making other arrangements. We would encourage you to come to worship with us at least three times before making your final decision about a church wedding. The 10.30am Service on a Sunday might be a good one to start with.

All are welcome, whether, married, lone or single parents, to bring children to Baptism. You yourselves do not have to be Baptised but Godparents must be. You should also live within the parish boundary, check the map to see if you do. If you do not live in the parish but have some particular reason for wanting Baptism at Holy Cross, speak to Revd Canon Ann. Baptism is a serious, life-long commitment, if you are at all concerned about making such a commitment on behalf of your child, you might like to consider a Thanksgiving and Blessing. Whatever option you choose we are delighted you are considering a link with the church and you will be welcomed into your local Christian Community.
Baptisms are conducted on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, normally at 12.30pm. We would encourage you to come to worship with us at least three times before making your final decision.
