Details of all our weekly services can be found below. During the course of the year there are many special and seasonal services. These will be added to the Events page as they occur. They will also appear in the Parish Magazine and on the Church Notice Board.
Holy Eucharist BCPSunday, 8:00am
This is a beautiful, peaceful, early morning service, using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. It is a said service with no hymns. There is a short Homily (talk). Eucharist is one of the names for Holy Communion, when Bread & Wine are received.
Junior ChurchSunday, 10:30am (Term time except 4th Sunday)
Open to all children 5-12 and led by trained leaders who have been CRB checked. Children under 5 are welcome as part of a family group but we ask that a parent is present. Children will engage in worship and activities. Read more about our children's work of the Children page.
Sung EucharistSunday, 10:30am
This is the main Sunday Service. Common Worship (the Church of England's modern worship) is used. The singing is led by our small Choir (new members welcome). This service lasts about an hour. Holy Communion is received at this service and there is a chance to meet others over tea and coffee after the service. The 4th Sunday of the month the service is especially geared towards people with families.
Morning Prayer & Holy EucharistMonday-Thursday, 9:30am
This is a very simple, reflective time of prayer consisting of Psalms and Bible Readings and prayers for those in need. Some Mornings this service will be followed by a said service of Holy Communion. During these services the church is open for prayer for anyone who might like to pray or to light a candle. Holy EucharistTuesday, 10:00am
A quiet, reflective Eucharist lasting 30 minutes (CW).
Wholeness and Healing ServiceEvery 1st Thursday, 7:30pm
This is a quiet, beautiful , reflective service when we have time to reflect on our need for being made whole in body, mind or spirit. During the service the Laying on of Hands and Anointing takes place. We can receive this for ourselves and/or on behalf of someone we know in need of healing. Everyone is welcome at this service.
